TUMALO ART COMPANY
The energy of water resonates deep within us.
It connects us to nature and stirs our souls. Water nourishes and cleanses our bodies and spirits. It is the essence of life – flowing through virtually everything. This new collection of mixed media paintings explores the power, energy and movement of water flowing through rivers, lakes, and seas — and our souls.
OPENING MAY 2020
Cassidy is a vintage, coin operated "quarter horse". She is part of the Pony Up Quarter Horse Project who has chosen artists from around the country to give new life to these retired ponies. The ponies will be auctioned to support Wades' House, a place for families who have lost a child to come away from the challenges and heartache of their loss.
MARMOT ART SPACE
I am honored to be one of five artists invited to take part in an anniversary show celebrating this truly special gallery. Marmot was named as one of 10 GREAT DIY ART SPACES by USA TODAY, is Winner of INLANDER’s “Best Of” competition and SUNSET magazine chose it as the best way to end a perfect day in Spokane! See? Fabulous! Bring on the cake and champagne, there is much to celebrate!!!
FRIDAY MARCH 6, 2020
DESCHUTES RIVER CONSERVANCY, RIVERFEAST
I am honored to be chosen as the signature artist for Deschutes River Conservancy's annual RiverFeast event. Deschutes River Conservancy works to restore healthy streamflow and improve water quality in the Deschutes Basin. My painting, Plenty was created for the event and will be available at Tumalo Art Company during my May solo show, Water Echo. A limited number of fine art prints will be available at the RiverFest event in April.
BEND MAGAZINE NAMES TUMALO ART COMPANY
My gallery mates and I at Tumalo Art Company are delighted to be recognized by BEND MAGAZINE as Best Art Gallery. I am proud and grateful to be part of this amazing group of artists. The gallery, located in The Old Mill District, features a diverse offering of mediums from local artists, participates in First Friday Art Walk and is open every day.
OLD MILL DISTRICT
I had the distinct pleasure to create the signature artwork, "Winter Is Here" for the Old Mill District Winter Campaign in my beautiful hometown of Bend, Oregon. Setting a festive tone for winter in our neighborhood, the art is featured on banners lining the streets, the magical background at SantaLand, holiday ornaments and the Winter Guide. The original is on view at Tumalo Art Company through December. Click here to read more about the project.
