Shelli will share her creative approach and guide you through her process to bring your favorite birds to life. Learn techniques to paint your own mixed media collage papers which can be layered with acrylic paint to create dynamic compositions. Students will experiment with various tools, acrylic paint, collage, crayon, pencil, etc. All levels welcome, some experience with acrylic paint is recommended. Fee: $225 - some materials supplied. With a lifetime of art making and design experience at her fingertips Shelli digs into the use of alternative tools to apply paint. Splashes, drips, bold smears of color, juxtaposed with delicate textures, bits of collage, handwriting and type create vibrant, nature inspired pieces to capture your heart.
